What to Expect at Your First Dental Visit
Warm Welcome and Comprehensive Exam
From the moment you arrive at Powell Valley Dental, our friendly front desk team will make you feel right at home. We’ll assist you with any remaining paperwork, review your insurance details, and answer any questions. If your forms are already completed online, check-in will be quick and easy. During your visit, we’ll take digital X-rays and Dr. Allred will perform a thorough exam of your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw to assess your overall oral health.
Personalized Care and Next Steps
After your exam, Dr. Allred will review your results with you and discuss any recommended treatments in a clear and comfortable manner. In most cases, you’ll also receive a gentle dental cleaning at this first visit. If a more advanced cleaning is needed, we’ll help schedule it. To help us serve you better, please bring a photo ID, insurance card (if applicable), a list of any medications, and your completed new patient paperwork.
